Zura Lagarde (Born in Mexico City) is a Miami-based Self-Taught photographer.

Education

2001-2002

  • Latin American Painting. Casa Lamm Cultural Center, Mexico City. 

2004

  • Analog Photography. Miami Art Center, Miami, FL.

2019-2021

  • Studied veil painting under the mentorship of Cecilia Thibes, Miami, FL.

2021 until today 

  • She is enrolled at Mexico City’s Página en Blando Photography School, where she has completed several workshops and courses.

  • Seminary RC-14. Zona de Riesgo Art, Mexico City.

  • She is a Women Photographers International Archive (WOPHA) member. 

  • She was also a member of Colectiva Punto Ciego, a collective of women photographers established to promote the work of female photographers in Latin America, North America, and the Caribbean.
