He was born in Niterói and currently lives in Río de Janeiro. His practice includes photography, engraving, and video.

He studied Marketing, Internet Technology, and Knowledge Management. He also studied photography at UCAM (Universidade Cândido Mendes), Rio de Janeiro, and in the same city he attended several courses at Ateliê da Imagem, Museu de Arte Moderna, and Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage, where he's currently studying Contemporary Art and Prints Workshop.

2013

  • He has presented solo shows at ArtMedia Gallery, Miami, FL; Centro Cultural Justiça Federal and Galeria Fotospaço, both in Rio de Janeiro, and also at Centro Cultural Museo de Bellas Artes Franklin Rawson, San Juan, Argentina., art director, Miami, FL
  • He participated in several group exhibitions as ExtraOrdinary, organized by Noorderlicht Photography, Drenthe, Holanda, and FOTORIO, Río de Janeiro.
  • He was finalist for Prêmio Diário Contemporâneo, Belém, and Prêmio Conrado Wessel, São Pablo, both in Brazil.

2012

  • Solo show at Centro Cultural Paschoal Carlos Magno, Niterói-RJ, and at Ulko Gallery, during the Fotovisa Festival 2012, Krasnodar, Russia.
  • He was invited to exhibit at Los Encuentros Abiertos, Festival de la Luz, Centro Cultural Recoleta, Buenos Aires.
  • He was nominated for the Marc Ferrez Photography Award, Brazil, with the Maresia project.

2011

  • As part of a group composed by twelve photographers from nine countries, he participated in the exhibition International Discoveries III, Houston, Texas, for have been selected at Fotofest during 2010-2011.
  • Solo exhibition at Centro de Fotografía, Montevideo.
  • Group shows in the following events and institutions: FOTORIO, Río de Janeiro; Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, Salta, Argentina, and Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage, Rio de Janeiro.

2010

  • Group shows at Casa de la Cultura, Government of Buenos Aires; Centro Cultural Borges, Buenos Aires, and at the DeVERcidade International Festival of Photography, Fortaleza, Brazil.
  • His work wass included in two collective books: SAARA Carioca y Vai-e-Vem.

2008

  • He published his personal book Literariamente, São Paulo.

His work is part of both private and institutional collections such as: the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; Lehigh University Art Galleries, Pennsylvania; Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro/Coleção Joaquim Paiva; Museu de Arte Contemporânea do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil; Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Salta, Argentina; Museo de Bellas Artes Franklin Rawson, San Juan, Argentina.
